MEDIA TRAINING: With more than 20 years of network experience on both sides of the camera, Braun Production is uniquely qualified to train any subject to be presentation and camera-ready.   

Anyone can benefit from media training.  It forces them to think about the fundamentals of their business: what it is, what differentiates it from others in the market and who is their customer.  Often these basic but key points are not clear for the individual as well as the team because no one has stopped to figure them out.  They are, frankly, just too busy with running the business day to day.  Universally, clients tell us this process is incredibly beneficial, challenging and, yes, even enjoyable.

Tim Braun, Founder/Executive Producer

From hard news to haute couture, Tim Braun has created content for top-rated network programs such as ABC's “20/20”and NBC's "Dateline," magazines including VOGUE, VANITY FAIR, and THE NEW YORKER, and mega-brands such as Tiffany & Co., Estee Lauder and Bottega Veneta.

Tim works directly with the editors-in-chief and publishers of more than 15 magazines to create web series, branding films and sizzle reels.  For the past four years, he has executive produced GQ's Best New Menswear Designers in America series for Conde Nast Entertainment. For ELLE Decor, he created a film celebrating 25 years in America and featuring more than 50 top designers and architects. Architectural Digest regularly features Tim's work on its website, both for behind-the-scenes cover videos as well as special series such as the AD 100.  For the past 5 years, WSJ Magazine has had Tim cover the red carpet at the Innovator Awards at the Museum of Modern Art.

Tim has played an integral role in the rebranding efforts of a number of companies including eBay, Restoration Hardware, Vera Bradley, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Hudson's Bay Company, and Starwood/W Hotels.

Tim works regularly with designers including Josie Natori, Prabal Gurung and Diane Von Furstenberg.  When the New York Fashion Week moved from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center, Tim worked with Anna Wintour to develop the series of network commercials announcing the launch and featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael Kors, Iman, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Heidi Klum, and others.

Prior to launching BRAUN PRODUCTION in 2005, Tim was the features reporter and producer for ABC “Good Morning America,” profiling designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Carolina Herrera and Tom Ford, while also producing guest correspondent Tommy Hilfiger’s monthly segments on men’s fashion. He regularly reported on major trends of the season with top fashion editors.

Kathleen Friery, Executive Producer

After more than 20 years as a network TV producer, Kathleen Friery has put--literally--thousands of people on television.  She knows what makes a guest memorable and keeps them getting asked back.  A media trainer to CEO's, world-class authors, fashion executives, celebrities, television reporters and others, she is masterful at teasing out the clearest, most concise messaging for a brand and then giving her subjects all the tools to make certain that the delivery of that message has impact and staying power.

At ABC, she was a producer and supervising producer for the award winning shows "20/20" and Good Morning America." At CNN, Kathleen was Senior Producer for "Connie Chung Tonight" and was an Executive Producer of "Anderson Cooper 360."   For her work with Cooper, Kathleen won four Emmy Awards. She also contributed to the coverage that won Peabody Awards for Hurricane Katrina and the 2008 Presidential Primary Campaigns and a DuPont Award for coverage of the Tsunami Disaster in South Asia.
